Kellie & Heidi Donate Hair Day 10th October 2011 raising $771.35
Kellie made a 30 before 30 list and one was to donate her long thick red hair. Her 5 year old daughter Heidi also donated her hair in their local community at Seymour. thank you to everyone who supported this initiative .

AAAF would like to than Lisa from Atmashakti for organising the shopping tour. The day exceeded expectations financially and in laughter. Wow!!!! What fun. Not only did the bank balance increase but so did the endorphins’ with so much laughter. Congratulations to Deb’s team on winning. A night like this can not happen without dedication of our supporters. So a huge thanks to Sabine, Helen, Lisa, Rheece, & Sarah. A extra thank you to Vesna for organising and hosting the event.

AAAF had a booth at Hair Expo 2011 to hand out Donate Hair Flyers and to inform the hairdresser industry that the support groups around Australia exist and how to connect people with the disease into our groups. Over the 3 day conference over 1500 flyers were handed out. AAAF was also able to connect into some education groups. Our discussion sessions were attended by those who have been touched by the disease, so story telling was shared. AAAF would like to thank Liz, Angela, Karen, Emma, Sarah, Sam, Andrew and Haya for their support.

I'm pleased to be able to advise that the Westpac 'Collections' Charity Auction raised $750 for the AustraliaAlopecia Areata Foundation (AAAF).
Simon received great support from many kind organisations and people who donated a number of items for us to auction off. Thankyou to the Adelaide 36ers Basketball team, Adelaide Crows Football club, South Australian Cricket Association, Beauty Access Medi-Spa at Kent Town, Bramley Family, Bear Family, Adelaide Clipsal 500 Group, the AAAF group and more.
